The Dress

I bought this dress in 2019, but due to the pandemic our wedding was canceled. I ended up wearing it only for an indoor photo shoot. It has been stored in a garment bag in a closet in a non-smoking pet-free home since. Custom tailored to take in the waist and bust, hem the skirt, and add loops and buttons to bustle the train.

The design is called Morning Glory from Casablanca Bridal’s Secret Garden collection. This ballgown is so romantic with delicate embroidered floral and butterfly details on the bodice and skirt, low V-shaped back, ethereal tulle with horsehair trim, buttons down the back, and sweetheart neckline. Built-in bust cups with push-up padding. The back closes with a zipper and buttons with loops. I hope it can have a new life as someone’s dream dress!
