The Dress

What a dress! It was perfect for my destination wedding.

Large openwork lace with a modern fresh looking floral (fussy traditional lace wouldn’t have made sense at our jungle/beach venue).

First photo shows it bustled (single invisible button bustle — super easy).

Had drama with a long train and amazing movement and flouncy (detachable) off the shoulder sleeves, but super comfortable with a little hidden elastic in the sleeves.

Part ballgown, part A-line with a full skirt, so no shapewear needed. Was comfortable, ate well, and could breathe and laugh all night.

Gave my straight figure the more hour-glass shape I wanted with the top ruffle and full skirt.

My tailor said it was exceptionally well-made with a 6-layer skirt of breathable horsehair petticoat and silk to give volume but without making it hot (this was my number one requirement — stay cool!).

Has pockets for phone or lipstick or powder or tissue (I used it for all 4 of those things over the course of the night).

Will include my gorgeous airy cathedral veil (with comb) if you’d like!

I am so in love with this dress, I’m considering dying it coral for future wear, but listing for now :)

Alterations

Length altered to five-foot-five height, and single-button bustle added. No other alterations.
