The Dress

FIT: Sheer lace strapless gown. Fitted bodice with exposed boning. Fit and flare skirt with side drape at front and centre ruching at back.

FABRIC: Lace and tulle.

FASTENING: Centre back zip with buttons and loops.

COLOUR: Bright ivory with nude lining.

TORRENS:
If modern lace is the brief, Torrens understood the assignment. Anything but traditional, Torrens is a study in the dichotomy between softness and structure thanks to its corseted, scoop neck bodice and front and back drape detailing, all cut in soft floral lace.

Alterations

Size 4 taken slightly in at bodice and waist. I am AUS size 8-10 so would say dress is leaning towards an 8 in top and 10 in skirt. Dress has not been taken up as I am 6ft without shoes.
