The Dress

DRESS HAS SLEEVES REMOVED. Sleeves come with the dress, but are detached!

This dress received SO MANY compliments, was incredibly dreamy and comfortable to wear on my big day. The dress is made with classic chantilly lace with a very long train - the top piece and sleeves are both sheer, with the exception of the breast area which has two supporting cups inside (should be easy to remove if you are more blessed than myself in that area!!) please read the list of alterations I had done :)

The bottom few inches of the dress is a bit dirty but should be just fine after dry cleaning. I can send pictures of this as well!

This dress made me feel SO beautiful on my wedding day and I hope it makes you feel the same way ❤️

Alterations

The biggest alteration I had done was having the sleeves removed. The original dress is off shoulder, but I could NOT lift my arms in this dress and it was very important for me to do so. The sleeves were detached, and also too snug at the top so there are two seam lines on each sleeve from my seamstress making it larger. There was extra lace from hemming at the bottom that she used to hide these seams - I would be happy to send more pictures and videos about this.

An extra piece of boning was added to the very center of the bust, for more support. (Compare pictures from my dress to the original at the end)

Nude lining added to the bottom (sheath style, does not flow into the train to not take away from the lace)

Nude cups added to the breast area for support. Should be easy to remove or add your own!

The dress did needed to be taken in, I accounted for this when providing my measurements for the dress.

The dress also had to be hemmed, and was a perfect length for me (I am 5’7” and the heels I wore were 2.5” tall!) I would say there is definitely wiggle room for another inch or two here with heels.

Finally, the dress has a bustle added to the back using five bottons and loops. They are easiest to find when underneath the dress, I have a video of this as well to send if you need help!
