The Dress

Inspired by the romance of french lace the Ivy Gown is a light airy silhouette made entiirely of french lace over a bias cut silk slip. High neck// Cap sleeves// Full button back detail

*No alterations were done- this was also the sample size in the boutique (UK 10), but fits smaller (4 or 6 to 10 depending on fit)
*IMPORTANT: Original dress design and most photos online will show a NUDE slip dress and a "high-low" design.
This slip dress is 1) IVORY, just like the lace and 2) Full length (which was 200 CAD extra, but so worth it!). The high-low design for me (176 cm/ 5.10) gave a 20-30 cm gap between the floor and the shortest point in front when not wearing heels. I highly recommend trying it on in the boutique if possible, or send me a message and we can discuss fit/ I can measure the length.) Of note, the last photo showing the back is borrowed and features a model in the nude slip dress)
*The end of the train has a thin built in "loop" which you can place around your wrist to easily move around and dance. It is not visible otherwise. I would not bustle this dress- I think it is too delicate and the train is too beautiful to be hidden!
*I removed the size tags, but I still have them as well as the receipts, the dress bag from Rue de Seine and the little description booklet it came with.
*The dress is in pristine condition. There are no stains, tears, missing buttons, smells or change in shape. In my opinion it has kept remarkably well and it would be a shame if it was only worn once.
*I´m open to only selling the lace dress, if this is preferred.

This is the most beautiful piece of clothing I have ever worn. The ivory slip dress and lace has a very bridal feel, while still being very unique and romantic. It is extremely comfortable- I was walking, hugging, dancing, sitting, standing all night long and never felt restricted. To me, this was very important. The silk slip dress is slightly washed, so it is not shiny. It is also thick enough to not let your underwear show, but thin enough to allow full movement and to not cling to the body. I had it steamed prior to the ceremony and that worked beautifully, however the lace also does a wonderful job covering up any potential wrinkles.

I want another bride to feel as happy and beautiful as I did in this dress. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. I will try my best to answer them and could send more pictures if wanted. Im originally from Europe now living in Canada, so if theres a better/cheaper way to ship this dress I will try to make it work.

Description of me/ my size
*Im 176 cm / 5.10
*Approximately 145 lbs, but since the dress is loose/ not fitted I really think this dress would have fit me have I gained or lost 10 pounds. I was also wearing low heels, so a taller person wearing flats or a shorter person wearing high heels could also rock this dress.
*hour glass figure- size of hips doesn't really matter for this dress. Its mostly a matter of length (which can be altered) and fitting the waist.
