The Dress

The Emma is a beautiful Matthew Christopher gown! Paisley patterned lace garnishes this strapless, sweetheart fit and flare gown from head to toe. With a hidden Basque waist and inverted V-shaped join line, this gown embraces each curve of the bride's body. Strategically placed lace over dotted Swiss tulle creates this classic look with a modern sheer, corseted back neckline. Dotted Swiss covered buttons embellish the length of the modified chapel length train.

I also bought a sheer and lace balero to go with my dress. This is a separate item and can be purchased with the dress, or separately. The bolero and the dress are completely independent.

The dress was bought in a size 4. There were very slight alterations done (mostly to the bust area). I added cups to the lining (I am a size B/C chest). The cups can be easily removed. I wore the dress bustled for the reception - so it is ready to wear!

I ordered the dress with extra length because I am 5'-10". I wore flats during my wedding.
