The Dress

This Maggie Sottero 'Carson' Dress was worn once in 2017. It was purchased from Abbey Bridal in Sydney cbd - the Maggie Sottero flagship store.

I received so many complements from my wedding guests who described it as classic and elegant dress.

This dress has the perfect combination of a sheer/illusion neckline with just the right amount of lace and bead detail without being too heavy.

The dress is made from a lace overlay with scattered bead detail throughout and a tulle under layer from the knees down for volume. The dress is more structured in comparison to a sheath dress so won’t cling to the waste or hips. The low back is adorned with beautiful crystal buttons at the opening.

The dress has been professionally drycleaned and is in excellent condition. It comes with the original Maggie Sottero garment bag, carry bag and certificate of authenticity.

Alterations

This dress was altered by a Maggie Sottero recommended seamstress. The only alterations made were the sheer shoulder was taken up slightly, the bust taken in and bra cups sewn in. The dress length was made to order shorter by Maggie Sottero when ordered so didn’t require alterations and was made to fit an average height rather than model height but I was still able to wear heels.
