The Dress

This gown is a One Day Bridal gown designed by Kyha based on a design worn by Nadia Bartel. I wore it on my wedding day on 11 February 2017.

While I dread saying goodbye to the most beautiful dress I have ever worn, I hate the thought of it being boxed up in my closet when it should be out making more memories on the dance floor!

The gown is a fitted neoprene (2 layers fused together) floor-length dress that is figure hugging, but very flexible yet firm. It has a v-neck, low back, long train and accentuated shoulder pads to elongated the body.

Due to the type of fabric, the gown is slightly off white, but photographed true white. It seems to change slightly when in different light, which is what I loved about it.

The train can be bustled for dancing and there is also a loop along the inside on the hem which can be used to put over your wrist to also hold the train.

My measurements are as follows:

I am typically a true Australian 8.

>Height - 160cm + 11 cm heels on (total gown length 170.5cm give or take) and there is available hem to be let down for anyone taller.

> Bust - 85 - usually 10 A-B cup - this gown has an open back so is flexible. It also has sewn in bra cups to give shape which would fit size A-B but could be removed if you’d prefer not to have them

> Under bust - 72cm

> Waist - 65cm

> Hip - 89cm

The gown was dry cleaned by the highly reputable Karl Chehade Dry Cleaners in Adelaide the day after the wedding. Karl Chehade Dry Cleaners specialise in dry cleaning high-end designer brands. The dress has been steamed back to the best condition possible, with only a few minor marks on the bottom and under side of the gown. The marks are only slightly visible, but not if you aren't looking for them. See photos on the listing.
