About the Dress

UPDATE: Hi everyone! I’ve reduced the price of my beautiful dress because it’s breaking my heart seeing it not being taken out!! :( Also I’ve moved the dress to join me in Sydney so any Sydney Brides, you can come try it on if you want! :) have a wonderful end to 2017!

This dress was just the right mix of classy, timeless, elegant, sexy and beautiful.
It was amazing to wear, and actually really comfortable!

I had so many gushing comments about this dress on the day, and people weren't surprised it was from Paris ;) The fabrics used to make this dress just make it a stunning piece of work, and the detailing in the top half is exquisite.

I bought straight from Rime Arodaky's Parisian atelier IN Paris, made to measure. When I dropped a heck of a lot of a weight just 2 months before the wedding, I had this altered to fit me by a professional seamstress. While you could get this altered somewhere else just as well, if you are in Auckland, you could take it to the same seamstress as she knows her handiwork and will alter to your body as you would like it. But this dress is simple in shape enough for any seamstress to do alterations without complication.

It's been professionally dry cleaned at The Regal Drycleaners, and it's in pristine condition. No pulls or tugs - just waiting for a beautiful bride to give it another chance at the spotlight because really, it is such a darn shame to have only worn it once.

I don't think you could get this dress in Australasia anywhere - and although it is from her 2016 collection, it was her top selling dress. It was an honor to wear this dress to marry my prince charming, and if it weren't for $$ that we need for the overseas move to AU that we did straight after the wedding, I would probably keep this to keep my waistline in check and renew our vows 10 years down the line ;)

FYI: I do not have the lacy skirt that is showcased in the model shots - it wasn't for me personally and it was a separate purchase (approx 1500Euros).
