Mermaid wedding dress in Spanish silk. Bodice with bateau neckline. V-shape opening at the back trimmed with a small bow in the centre. Detachable Spanish silk train.

The definition of classic elegance. I didn't know what I was looking for despite a very clear theme of timeless with a tinge of sex appeal. When I stepped into this dress I looked no further. My reaction combined with my weeping mother and sister said it all.

I wore the detachable train and veil until post dinner and was entirely comfortable. For evening photographs I removed the train to achieve the "sexier" version, a very fitted silhouette, essentially providing two dresses in one.

It is a size 6 but am closer to an 8 and so works for both.

We were married in the height of the Spanish Summer 17, the wedding day reaching 31 degrees. There is no doubt it was warm but at no point uncomfortable.

Regretful sale but the proceeds go to a good home in funding toward our honeymoon. Priced to Sell.

Original alterations to overall length and insertion of cups. The dress fitted like a glove and limited the need for further alteration. I am 5ft 5in and wore towering heels: Heel height: 4 3/4 inches. 1 inch platform.
The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned by Melbourne's leading bridal drycleaner, Syndall's, Armadale. The dress has been restored to perfection without a single blemish. GIven the excess of material, I advise for the dress to be steamed on the morning of the wedding.
