Individual One Off Dress with Classic Timeless High Neck Style Size 6

Hand Made by Queensland Designer Brad from Darb Bridal Couture for my wedding in 1997.
Brad was just getting established at that time and from memory the gown was about $2,500 - $3,000 then, so would be $5,000-$6,000 in today's $'s.

The bodice is lovely thick silk satin, like two layers with padding to hold it's shape, however it is not boned. Halterneck front and back with small pearl detail all the way around the neck. Zip up the back.
The skirt is in 3 layers, the soft petticoat, then the silk satin overlaid with silk organza.
Three lines of ribbon around the base. I hired full petticoat to wear from Darb.

I was 47.5kgs on the wedding day - so a true size 6. I was a size 10B (32B) Bra & size 6 Knickers.
I didn't go outside so it was inside the golf club and in the undercover area and porte-cochère.

The gown was dry cleaned at Leon's Fine Dry Cleaning in East Brisbane and has been boxed. I have taken it out and laid it on the bed, so note that it has not been pressed and so might seem to have some creases in the skirts.

Bust 88cm (34.5in)
Waist 67cm (26.5in)
Hips 90cm (35.5in)

There is a little wear on the back hem on the underside as it flows just a little on the back as you walk.
