The Dress

Made With Love's Dasha - her figure-hugging shape and extraordinary tattooed lace combine to create the most breathtaking wedding gown.

From the front, her sweetheart neckline and thin spaghetti straps are elegant; from behind, the plunging back and extended train bring drama and romance.

This ivory-on-ivory Dasha was purchased from Made With Love and made to order for my wedding on February 2, 2018. The dress is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and made me feel incredible on the day.

She is in near-immaculate condition as I changed into a second dress after the formalities of the reception concluded. There are no specific marks to mention and no tears. The dress was professionally dry-cleaned by Sydney Wedding Gown Preservation. I first listed this straight after my wedding, then got cold feet about selling!

My measurements are:
Bust 89cm
Waist 73cm
Hips: 97cm
Hollow to floor (with 9cm heels) 148cm

Alterations were made by MWL's recommended seamstress:

Hips taken out about 4mm; bust cups added - both can easily be changed to suit the next owner.
Bustle and hand loop added.

Most importantly, I had the double shoulder straps changed to one single strap that blends into the mesh back as I wanted the dress to look different to other Made With Love dresses.

I also had about 40cm of the silk underlay removed from the train so that the lace can be seen more clearly, and also so the dress was lighter and able to be bustled.
