The Dress
This dress is ivory with a ruffled bodice and one shoulder strap. The waist has a darker shade waist band that has silver bead work in the front. The shoulder strap also has silver bead work. The dress has a corset back which is adjustable to suit the bride. The bottom part of the wedding dress from the waist is made up of different layers of netting. The top layers are taken in at the waist and layered in different lengths with stiff boarders that fall down over each other. Under this layer are layers if fine netting to give more volume to the top layers. Under this is a skirt of thicker silky double material for body to the dress. Underneath this is a separate petticoat made of an adjustable waistband with netting attached to 3 wire hoops to give this dress stunning volume which sways as you walk. This dress was made in New Zealand by Kellys Bridal House and brought to South Africa for the wedding.
