My only suggestion for improvement is to make the message feature more timely. I noticed some of my messages are held or take a long time to be received and likewise I’m not notified when I receive a message. This makes the communication process inefficient especially when you’re trying to communicate with multiple potential buyers in a timely manner. Thank you

My experience with Stillwhite was amazing! I got my dream dress at a discount, and the owner and I were the same size so I saved on alterations as well! Not only did I get the dress I wanted, but it was easy to find because of the settings I could select to search. Why did I get a notification that my dress sold as if I was not the one buying it? (It gave me other suggestions) Shipping was terrible to deal with. Would really have preferred a shipping set up like Poshmark. A similar offer button option instead of just messaging would have been nice as well. Happy this service is in place!

Overall, this was a very convenient way to sell the dress. However, the only payment option made available was PayPal, and they took more than 3% of the sale price. This was not clear until after I made an offer. So while I listed the dress for one amount, and the buyer agreed to pay that amount, I got less than the agreed amount. I would have increased the price had I known in time. This was quite upsetting to me.

I had a really good experience as a buyer on Stillwhite - I found the site user-friendly, as it was easy to narrow my search and browse the styles I was interested in. When I found my dress and got in touch with the seller, I was able to ask loads of questions and request extra photos; everything was logged via the site. Payment was quick, easy and secure through the site also, and the seller quickly confirmed she had received the funds. Once my dress was shipped, she sent me photos and details of the shipping, tracking, courier, insurance etc., and I was able to let her know when my gown arrived safely (and thank her!). I'm a British buyer and was purchasing from the USA, so of course I got stung for import duties and customs fees etc. to the tune of about £240 on a £700 dress, but I had totally anticipated this. I still made a big saving, as the dress would have been around £1600 to buy new in the UK (if it was still available, and if I could find one in my size), and the dress I bought on Stillwhite was brand new with tags still attached. I guess I won't be using Stillwhite again as a wedding will hopefully be a once-in-a-lifetime event(!), but if you're a bride-to-be looking for a bargain, something unique, vintage, or unavailable in your country, I'd highly recommend you give them a try. :-)

Stillwhite is a very user friendly app to sell your wedding dress on. The only trouble I had was using PayPal, which is the only way to get paid through stillwhite. 1) Do not use the PayPal app. Only use PayPal in your web browser because the app doesn’t have all the capabilities that you will need for your transaction. 2) PayPal charges a fee (not sure what for) that they take from the payment you receive. In other words you will not actually get all the money from your buyer, PayPal gets some of it!

I’m happy I sold my dress, but now that I’ve seen that PayPal is taking over $20 in fees from me I’m irate that you would recommend that I handle payment through PayPal as a “seller.” Now I’m in a precarious position of having sent my dress but not actually received payment! I am pleased with several things. I like that you can add a list of favorites, and reorder them by moving them around. Would like to be able to list them differently, by favorites overall, by price, by model, by designer, etc in my favorite list. I also like compared to other sites that when I hover over the picture move to the next picture of the dress so I don´t need to click in to see. Also when searching, I can put several sizes at the same time. I can when going to a dress and press return page, comes back to the same page, and the page shows where I was. etc. Many more things this page has, compared to others. Good prices and better pictures of dresses. Easy to buy and talk with sellers.

Very happy with this platform for buying a dress for the special day, search filters made it very easy to specify the country I am looking to buy. One other idea would be to be able to apply this filter to the daily email alerts, to be able to see at a glance which ones are from Nz 😊 super happy, though and would definitely use stillwhite myself to sell my dress.

I would highly recommend Stillwhite to anyone looking for a pre-loved dress. The search functionality led me to exactly what I was after (ie designer and style), and contacting the seller and accepting her offer was incredibly easy. I would say this was one of the least stressful dress purchases I have ever made! Platform is great. Only changes I would make is having a category for accessories (shoes, veils, etc.) and for 2 piece gowns (instead of just separates), and the search bar being able to search by type as well as brand. For example, I was wanting to search for a top, the separates category was easy enough to use, but it was mostly 2 piece gowns and over skirts. Still found what I wanted though :)

I thought it was q great alternative to buying from a retail shop. I knew the dress I wanted and found several but most were priced ridiculously high.
